How It Works

GIVE WHERE YOU LIVE DAY will start on Friday December 1 and continue through Monday, December 4, 2023

The Patterson Family Foundation has offered DCCF a grant of up to $70,000.  If we raise $70,000 in general donations during our Give Where You Live Day event, December 1-4, 2023, the Patterson Family will grant us $70,000 to share with 30 DCCF nonprofits.

Here’s how it works:

Donations:

  Walk-in donations Dec. 1

  • Troy Library 10 am -2 pm
  • Drop boxes during regular business hours at the city halls in Elwood, Wathena, Troy, or Highland
  • Chamber Christmas Mixer at Glacial Hills Venues—961 Vernon Rd, Wathena   5-8 pm

  Online giving

  Mail in giving

  • Mail donation form and check to DCCF, PO Box 11, Troy, KS 66087 postmarked by 12/4/23

Match funds of $83,500 will be available to give a 50% match up to $3,000 cap per nonprofit.

  • Combined donations of up to $6,000 will be matched at 50%, giving a maximum of $3,000 in Match Money from DCCF per fund.  If Jane Doe makes a donation of $1,000 to Organization A, then Organization A would receive an additional $500 Match Money from DCCF.
  • Donors will select which funds to support.  One hundred percent of the donations will be deposited in the chosen nonprofit’s account.

The Doniphan County Community Foundation extends our deepest thanks to the Patterson family Foundation for their generous $70,000 grant, which is offered dollar for dollar based on the amount of donations DCCF nonprofits receive during Give Where You Live Day.

Please give generously to help us provide as much Match Money as possible to our non-profits for their projects that benefit our whole community.
